Bolide products come different warranty periods. To determine which warranty applies to the product you purchased, please refer to the Product warranty periods at the end of this document. The following sections detail the terms of the Bolide Limited Product Warranty and Return Policy as well as some special consideration for International Orders.

Details of Bolide Limited Product Warranty

Bolide warrants to the original purchaser that any products will be free of defects in workmanship and materials for the applicable limited warranty period set forth on the Bolide website, which is measured from the date of shipment. Importantly, this limited product warranty does NOT cover:

  • Products that have been damaged during transport from Bolide to the end destination
  • Products that have been damaged trough misuse, abuse or mishandling, including without limitation the unauthorized modification of the system as a whole or any individual component and/or the attachment of peripheral devices
  • Product that has been damaged by actions that are beyond Bolides control, including, impacts, fluids, fire, flood, wind, earthquake, lightning or similar disaster, war, strike, lockout, epidemic destruction of production facilities, riot, insurrection or material unavailability
  • Product for which Bolide has not received payment
  • Paint or finish
  • Any & All physical damage for what so ever!

During your applicable limited product warranty period, if a covered product is proven to be defective in workmanship or materials, Bolide will, at its option: (1) replace or repair the defective component: or (2) replace the product with a comparable product. Replacement part will be new or serviceably used, comparable in function and performance to the original part or products may be refurbished, and are warranted for the longer of fourteen days or the remainder of the warranty period. Any additional purchases or upgrades will not extend this limited product warranty.

If we determine that the problem with the product is not covered by the limited product warranty, we will inform you of alternative solutions that may be available to you on a fee-for-service basis.

THIS WARRANTY AGREEMENT GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (OR JURISDICTION). BOLIDE’S REPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTS IN BOLIDE PRODUCTS IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THE BOLIDE LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY, ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN TIME TO THE TERM OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD REFLECTED ON THE BOLIDE`WEBSITE. NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD HAS EXPIRED.

Moreover, Bolide’s and your maximum liability to the other is limited to the purchase price you paid for the products or services plus interest as allowed under the applicable law. Neither you nor Bolide will be liable to the other for property damage, personal injury, loss of use, interruption of business, “down time”, purchaser’s time, loss of use of related equipment, lost profits, lost data or other consequential, incidental, punitive or special damages, however caused, whether for breach of warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), absolute or strict liability or otherwise, other than those damages that are incapable of limitation, exclusion or restriction under the applicable law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

How will Bolide fix a defective, warranted product?

For all covered products, we will first attempt to diagnose and resolve the problem over the telephone. If we determine that the problem is with a defective component covered by your warranty, then we will, at our option, either: (a) have you send your product to our repair facilities for repair or replacement; or (b) send you a component part to replace the defective component.

If our technical support agents determine that your product must be returned to our facilities for repair or replacement, we will issue you a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number. You must return the product to us in its original or equivalent packaging. We will, at our expense, return the repaired or replacement product to you. You are responsible for shipping the product to our San Dimas Repair Facility and we will ship the product back to you.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before you ship product to us or before you replace a part, make sure to back up the data on the hard drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any confidential, proprietary, or personal information and removable media such as CD’s or USB cards. We are not responsible for any of your confidential, proprietary, or personal information; lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media.

Credit Returns

Bolide will credit all returns of standard production items for a period of 60 days from the original date of shipment, not on the special order or custom made items, it’s a requirement that the returned products still unused and in its/their original packaging, along with any media, documentation, accessories, and all other items that were included in the original shipment. All merchandise returned for credit is subject to a 25% restocking and refurbishing charge. To return merchandise for credit, you must obtain a RMA number. Please call the Bolide customer service department and provide them with the invoice number, item description, serial number(s) of the merchandise you wish to return and the reasons for the returns. You must ship the merchandise within 10 days of receiving your RMA number.

BOLIDE PRIVACY POLICY FOR MOBILE APPLICATIONS

This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their 'Personally Identifiable Information' (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our mobile applications.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used? Automatically Collected Information

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application may collect information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and our service. We do not share your information with third parties.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

We do not retain User Provided data. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States' consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's privacy and safety online.

We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via email or text message. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States. If you reside outside the United States your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under United States privacy standards.
